About the SANDY FARM PETTING ZOO
Nestled within our small, family-run Sandy Farm Campsite, our Petting Zoo offers a gentle, immersive countryside experience where tradition meets innovation, where our animals are more than cute faces — they’re real, hard-working members of the farm, with amazing stories to be heard.
Come and meet our friendly goats, pigs, sheep, poultry and more, all of whom play an important role in everyday farm life. Say hello to our much-loved mascot Chip the Golden Goat, or share a giggle with Pickle, our cheeky mummy pig. Throughout the day, we host an interactive show-and-tell in our stable area, where families are invited to slow down, ask questions and learn about a chosen animal — from their personality and purpose to their place within the farm. With thoughtfully designed spaces including baby lamb and goat kid pens, a poultry enclosure and a communal feeding area with our most trusted animals.
Set just moments from Abersoch village, we’re perfectly placed for a full family day out — visit the petting zoo, then head to the beach or explore the village nearby. Come down and make unforgettable, memories with your friends and family, at the Sandy Farm petting zoo!
PRICES AND OPENING TIMES
Sandy Farm hosts petting zoo experiences from April through the end of August. While these events typically take place on Saturday mornings from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, please check our Instagram and news feed for specific dates.
Admission: £10 per person and includes a complimentary bucket of
animal feed.
Upon arrival, please visit the site office where a staff member will assist with your entry and provide the day’s schedule. From there, you will be directed to the waiting area where a team member will escort you to the petting zones.
Please note that parking is available in a neighboring field and is subject to weather conditions. We recommend checking our Instagram or calling us before your visit to confirm current parking availability.
