Our retro-style SAMEBIKE RSA07 250W electric bikes are the perfect way to explore the coast, countryside and café stops at your own pace — whether you’re heading out with the family or enjoying a relaxed ride for two.. We wanted to provide a better solution for local travel, so we did it!
Our 250W all-terrain RS-A07 Retro Commuter e-bikes are perfect for exploring the Welsh coast in style. With a battery range of up to 90km and a top speed of 25km/h, you can easily visit the beach, enjoy the views from Rhiw mountain, or explore nearby villages whilst still having time to nip to the shop before dinner. And that’s just 1 day!

Every rental includes a helmet, a lock, and a full battery. For security, each bike is branded and GPS-tracked. We prioritize your safety and ask all riders to follow the
Highway Code at all times. Enjoy an effortless adventure through the Llŷn and discover new places with new memories with Sandy Farm e-bikes.
RENTALS
E-bike hire is available from the first weekend of our campsite opening through to the final weekend before closing (March–October).
HOW TO HIRE
Hiring is easy and friendly just how we like it.
• Book in person at our on-site office Monday–Saturday 10am–3pm
• Or call ahead to check availability on 07896 89121
Each rider must:
• Be 14 years or older
• Leave a valid passport or UK driving licence as security for the duration of the hire
Please note: We do not have parking available for non-residents. If you’re hiring bikes only, please plan your arrival accordingly.
PRICES
ON ARRIVAL
Once you arrive:
1. Head to the site office
2. One of our friendly Sandy Farm team will help you complete a short rental form
3. You’ll then be shown to the bike shed for:
◦ A full, easy-to-follow tutorial
◦ How to use the bike, battery and controls
◦ How to lock the bike securely
◦ Help choosing a comfortable, well-fitting helmet
We’ll also remind you of your return date and time — easy riding, no clock-watching stress.
RANGE, ROUTE & RIDING TIPS
Each E-bike has an impressive maximum range of up to 90km. For a relaxed round trip, we recommend planning for around 75km, allowing extra battery for hills, headwinds and leisurely cruising.
For reference:
75km is roughly the distance from Abersoch to Porthmadog and back again.

CHARGING YOUR E-BIKE
• Bikes must only be charged at the designated charging points in our on-site bike shed.
• Please do not charge the battery anywhere else.
• Incorrect charging can cause damage — and any resulting repairs will be the hirer’s responsibility and cost.
SECURITY, TRACKING & LIABILITY
For your peace of mind (and ours), all Sandy Farm E-bikes are:
• Fitted with tracking systems
• Equipped with alarms
If your hired E-bike is lost, stolen or damaged, you must:
1. Contact the Sandy Farm office immediately
2. Call Byron on 07896 891214
3. If stolen, report the incident to the police (101) without delay
The hirer is responsible for Loss, theft or damage during the hire period. Any damage caused by misuse, negligence or failure to follow guidance, will result in the hirer being billed.
